Moms and disabilities

A Mama with a Walker

Whelp, I took the plunge and started a blog!

I am so excited to start sharing my stories of how much my life has changed being a Mommy while dealing with a debilitating disease–Friedreich’s Ataxia.

Whether you can relate or not, I hope to instill my ups and downs, the wonderful joys of Motherhood and the many ways of coping with a disability.

Do not fret! I won’t bore you with posts all about me! I’ll switch it up, from time to time, and add some fun & creative posts in there, too! 😉

Make sure to comment, question or suggest things about my blogs! It will help keep my blogs interesting and allow me the opportunity to get to know you!

I hope you’re ready; this will get bumpy…

  1. I am so excited to follow this. I have FA and a one-year-old. I would find it helpful if you talked about some of the ways you have adapted to make childcare more manageable.

    1. Absolutely! I’m always learning new ways to play and discipline my son. As you know, some days are harder than others, but the older he gets, the easier! Stay tuned…I will have numerous blogs about this topic!
